Campout Packing List
We recommend that you look over this list for each campout. It is better to decide not to bring something on purpose than to forget it by accident.
Campsite

- Sleeping bag
- Foam sleeping pad
- Pillow (if desired)
- Shovel/spade
- Camp chair
Clothing
- Uniforms
- TL t-shirts during daily activities, if possible.
- Navigators and Adventurers should be in their Class A (button-down) shirts for ceremonies.
- Change of clothes - At least one
- Pants - long
- Socks - 2 extras for bed and the morning
- Underwear
- Sleeping clothes
- Hat (if desired)
- Rain jacket or poncho
- Jacket (or other additional layer in case of cold weather)
- Appropriate hiking footgear – Tennis shoes can work. No open-toed shoes!
- Sunglasses (optional)
Toiletries
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Washrag
- Soap
- Hand sanitizer
- Towel (small)
- Sunscreen lotion
- Bug repellent
- Half roll of toilet paper (in a plastic baggie)
- Dental floss
- Comb or Brush
Personal Camping Gear
- Individual mess kit (plate, bowl, fork, spoon, cup)
- Canteen or water bottle
- Compass
- First Aid Kit
- Flashlight or Head Lamp with extra batteries
- Pocketknife (Mountain Lions, Navigators, Adventurers)
- Waterproof bag (Optional, use thick trash bag)
- 2 Trash bags for dirty clothes or wet gear
- Spare rope (eg. Paracord)
Other
- Medication (if any)
Things we generally avoid: fixed-blade knives, propane or butane lighters, axes (except in the axe yard), hatchets, propane or gas lanterns, fire accelerants, fireworks, electronics.
